Certification Training Tracks & Certification Levels

In an effort to provide a wide variety of people the opportunity to learn to teach TRE competently and safely we have created a multi-track certification program:
Facilitator Track and Practitioner Track

Each track has two levels of certification:
Level I certifies the TRE trainee to teach TRE to individuals.
Level II certifies the TRE trainee to teach TRE to groups of people.

Certification Training Tracks & Certification Levels USA & Cananda

Level I TRE Facilitator:
The Certified TRE Level I Facilitator is certified to guide an individual (one person at a time) through the TRE process, teaching TRE as a tension and stress reduction technique.

There are no prerequisites to enter this training track.

Level I TRE Practitioner:
The Certified TRE Level I Practitioner is certified to guide an individual (one person at a time) through the TRE process.  Most TRE Practitioners will be integrating TRE into an already established health and/or mental health professional practice.
Most admitted into this track will be integrating TRE into an already established therapeutic professional practice.

Prerequisites

  1. Certified in a body or psychotherapeutic discipline that has a professional regulating body in which you hold an active membership. It is expected that this professional association will have a governing body that requires training in ethical and professional behavior.
  2. Prior education, training, and experience which includes working with emotional reactions, defenses, and emotional processes with a client.

Level II TRE Facilitator:
The Certified TRE Level II Facilitator is certified to guide groups of people through the TRE process teaching TRE as a tension and stress reduction technique.

The Level II TRE Facilitator is certified to teach TRE groups and TRE classes that focus on the TRE process and experience.  Not certified to teach the didactic materials or training workshops associated with the TRE Certification Program.

Level II TRE Practitioner:
The Certified TRE Level II Practitioner is certified to guide groups of people through the TRE process.  Most TRE Practitioners will be integrating TRE into an already established health and/or mental health professional practice.

The Certified TRE Level II Practitioner is certified to teach TRE groups and TRE classes that focus on the TRE process and experience.  Not certified to teach the didactic materials or workshops associated with the TRE Certification Program.

Level III TRE Trainers:
The Level III TRE Trainers provide certification training and supervision to Level I and Level II trainees in both certification tracks.  Level III Trainers are certified to teach the didactic materials and workshops associated with the TRE Certification Program.
