Within the USA & Canada:
Please follow these steps to begin the certification process:
- Read the Certification Program Information and the letter from Dr. Berceli.
- Read the Types of Certification.
- Everyone begins their training at Level I.
- From reading the prerequisites for the Facilitator track and the Practitioners track you will probably be able to determine which certification track will best fit your situation. For the majority of people this is simple to determine. However, if you are not sure which track is right for you your Primary Trainer will be able to make this determination for you when you fill out your personalized TRE Learning Plan.
- Ultimately it is the responsibility of your Primary Trainer’s to make the determination as to which certification track is appropriate for you based on the information you provide for your TRE Learning Plan.
- Read the certification requirements at Level I Facilitator or at Level I Practitioner.
- Look over the Upcoming Workshops to locate a Level I Certification Training.
- These are usually 3 day trainings.
- Practitioners and Facilitators attend the same Level I Certification Training.
- Choose a Level III TRE Trainer, from the list below, to be your Primary Trainer.
- This can be done either before or after your 3 day Level I training.
- Trainer resumes/vitas can be found at: Locate A TRE Provider – search by the state the trainer lives in. (Note: All the Level III Trainers provide mentoring via Skype if no one is in your geographical area.)
- Contact the trainers directly for more information about working with them – including information about their fees.
- Make sure you have a clear agreement with the trainer you choose.
- Make sure that trainer is able and willing to act as your primary trainer.
- Your primary trainer will direct you to a website where you can formally enroll in the TRE Certification Program. The one time enrollment fee is $35.
- You Primary Trainer will be your guide and mentor through the certification process. She/he will provide you with the TRE Learning Plan; the two of you will collaborate in the development of this plan. This individualized Learning Plan and the certification requirements, as posted on this website, will be your guide and outline your needed requirements to successfully complete the TRE Certification Training.
