Description: Those certified will be called “Certified TRE Providers” and will have the competency needed to teach both individuals and groups.
The training introduces the anatomy, neurology and physiology of stress and trauma as it relates to TRE and the tremoring process. You will learn containment, grounding and energizing strategies as well as how to identify the need for and teach self-regulation. This is an experiential training with a strong focus one’s personal tremoring experience.
Certification Trainer Trainee: Sherri Barrett, BA, is a Certified TRE Provider and Certification Trainer Trainee. Sherri is passionate about TRE, running weekly classes and providing individual sessions. Sherri has extensive experience working with Aboriginal communities in social and employment development
Supporting Certification Trainer : Joan McDonald, RSW, TRE Certification Trainer – Joan Mc Donald, Registered Social Worker, Certification Trainer for Canada, Thailand and Nepal. Joan recently was one of two trainers with TRE Philippines Humanitarian project. She taught TRE in Myanmar and has established a Global Certification Training program in Thailand. She is presently establishing a sustainable TRE post disaster program in Nepal.
