This training is open to anyone.
Description: This 3-day workshop is open to anyone that is interested in learning TRE for personal wellbeing and/or to apply it in a one-to-one therapeutic setting. This course will be very practical, each morning and afternoon session you will learn about the scientific theory behind TRE and you will be supported through the exercises and the tremors. This workshop is the first part of the process to be accredited as a TRE Provider worldwide. TRE Certified Providers are able to teach TRE to individuals and to groups. Module 2 will be in Edinburgh 9-11 September 2016
Module 1 will include:
- Introduction to TRE
- Introduction and deepening of personal tremoring experience
- Anatomy, neurology and physiology of stress and trauma as it relates to TRE
- Understanding the tremor response
- Introduction to the Poly-vagal theory
- Defense reactions as they relate to TRE
- Containment and grounding strategies
- Introduction to basic skills of working with individuals and groups
