Fascia is everywhere. It is an incredibly important, hitherto overlooked, tissue in the body. This TRE supervision day will open you up the world of the living matrix of connective tissue.

The living matrix of fascia has been under appreciated for decades. There is an exponential growth in research papers into connective tissues. We can no longer talk of separate muscles; muscles and fascia form bags and ‘myofascial meridians’ that connect all the structures of the body into a unified whole. It is staggering how everything is connected to everything. Tension patterns in fascia are a primary communicating system in the body. The extracellular matrix of fascia connects into cytoskeleton of cells and in turn the cytoskeleton connects into the cell nucleus. The tension in fascia is now known to affect the expression of DNA in the nucleus.

The workshop will explore the lines of connection through the core of the body, we will look at biotensegrity, how oscillations in tissues feed the brain, and we will look at the transverse diaphragms. Transverse diaphragms are common places for holding tight and often limit the free movement of tremors through the body.

 TRE Supervision Days

The goal of supervision days is to help you deepen into your practice and understanding of TRE. They are open to anyone who has attended a 3 day TRE Level 1 course or has a strong TRE self practice.

Each day will be a mix of personal practice of TRE, lectures on associated theory, discussion of your own responses to TRE and observing and supporting others through the TRE process.

Each day is a stand alone workshop, so you can attend any single day.

Attending one supervision day can count as one personal supervision session (to be agreed with your supervisor) towards your TRE Certified Provider accreditation.
