TRE® (also known as Tension Releasing Exercises) is a simple set of stretches and exercises that activate your body’s natural stress-release system, helping you feel more relaxed in minutes. It can relieve everyday stressors, unwind long-held muscle tension, and release trauma, increasing your capacity for all life holds. Best of all, your body does the work, providing relief without requiring you to retell or re-live past experiences.

We’ll put TRE in context by providing brief background information on the anthropology, physiology, neurology, and psychology of stress and trauma. Then we’ll teach you how to do the stretches and exercises that evoke therapeutic tremors, which are the key to releasing tension from inside your muscles. These exercises work for all body types and are easily adaptable to any fitness level or mobility challenge.

What we love most about TRE is the way it empowers you to heal yourself. After you’ve learned it, you can practice it independently wherever and whenever you want. For free!

People in more than 100 countries have found that TRE helps them:

• Release chronic tension or trauma
• Increase energy and stamina
• Reduce anxiety
• Relieve body aches, including back pain, headaches, and TMJ
• Enhance focus and connection
• Improve sleep quality
• Improve mood
