Come learn how to release stress and tension and trauma out of your body, naturally! In this class you will learn a series of simple exercises that will assist your body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress and tension caused by physical or emotional trauma (past or present). These are simple exercises that anyone, can learn and use. Simple exercises (or modifications if need be) will be taught and they will activate our natural reflex mechanism within our bodies to release stress and tension which then presents as a mild vibration or shaking. We will allow our bodies to tremor, shake or vibrate to release stress and tension caused by stressful situations. When we experience stress and trauma our bodies contract to protect the muscles, the gentle vibration that results from these exercises helps relieve those contracted muscles.
Please bring a water bottle, yoga mat, small pillow, blanket, dress in layers with socks.
