About the TRE Global Certification Training in Belgium
There are no pre-requisites to enroll in the TRE Global Certification Program but to be qualified and certified to teach TRE you need to complete the whole program and fulfill all the certification requirements. The average completion time for the program is 10-12 months.
We will offer two Module 1 Trainings – one in English and one in French and one Module two in both languages.
Of the four three-day training workshops required for certification, Module 1 is open to the public and it can be taken as a personal exploration, while the remaining weekends are only open to trainees who are enrolled in the TRE Global Certification Program. After the first two modules, which are both theoretical and experiential, participants will attend two supervision weekends to complete the class time requirements.
The supervision weekends focus in on refining teaching skills on both individual and group settings and they will be taught in Flemish and French.
Additional supervision will be completed with online sessions.

Cost and Registration:
Each training costs €490 if paid by a month prior to the workshop, €570 up to two weeks prior to the workshop and €595 if booked less than two weeks prior to the workshop. The cost includes snacks and lunch.

Trainer:
Maria Alfaro is a naturalized Italian who lives in California. She has a background in Yoga, Chinese martial arts and Esalen massage and she one of two developers of Neurogenic Yoga™, a sister method of TRE®.
Maria is a Senior TRE Certification Trainer, designated by Dr. David Berceli, the creator of TRE. She has been training with Dr. Berceli since 2004 and teaching his work ever since.
Over the past 12 years Maria has facilitated TRE for thousands of people in the US, in Europe, in Canada, Indonesia and in the Middle East. Since 2011 she leads TRE Certification Trainings worldwide, which are attended by all kind of health professionals including psychotherapists, social workers, massage therapists, acupuncturists and nurses. In the US, she is an Approved CE provider with NCBTMB (National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork) and she also provides CE for marriage and family therapists in California.
Maria also assisted Dr. Berceli in numerous trainings in the United States and in South Africa and she is co-author of a chapter in his new book “Shake it off naturally”.
