TRE® is an innovative series of exercises that helps the body release deeply held tension, stress, & trauma.  Developed by David Berceli, PhD, TRE® safely activates a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system.  Neuroscientists call this the “freeze discharge” (Scaer, 2010.)  The exercises are safe and can be modified for almost all body types.  TRE® is being taught in 35 countries and is presently being studied by the Veterans Administration.  After doing TRE®, many people report feelings of peace and well-being.

**Lodging:**

There are many places to stay.  The closest hotel is in walking distance but is not cheap, but definitely luxurious: https://www.essexresortspa.com.

The Beaumont is close but not in a fun area (but safe).  It’s not in walking distance though.

If you want to be where the action is, downtown Burlington is the place.  Hotel Vermont is one place others have liked.  There is also a Hilton (or two) downtown.  The Lang House and Willard Street Inn are two bed and breakfasts to consider.

In general, any place in Burlington, South Burlington, Essex, Essex Junction, Colchester, or Williston will keep you around a 15 minute drive to Elements of Healing.  All the chains are in the area.   Air BnB is another option folks have used.

Uber and cab companies (Green Cab and Dunwright Cabs are two) can get you to your hotel.
