*What is Trauma Release Exercise?
*Created by Dr. David Berceli, PhD, TRE® safely activates a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance. TRE is a body based (somatic) process which, when done properly, through a Certified TRE Provider can allow the individual to discharge tension from the body, which often does not require “revisiting the story”. (ie: verbally describing or talking about the traumatic experience)

Who can TRE® Help?
Anyone, old and young, can receive value from TRE®. Shaking of the muscles increases bodily strength and elasticity. Preliminary findings show the same benefits for the brain/mind/emotional complex increasing in mental resilience and focus. TRE® can give relief from minor distress to “panic attacks” (as is being demonstrated by war veterans previously suffering PTSD symptoms). This is the case despite the cause: work-related situations, anxieties or phobias, assault or abuse, financial problems, compulsive obsessive disorder, substance or behavioral addictions, family/relationship struggles, physical pain, or a car accident.

No matter if you would like more serenity in your family, are a victim of a crime, a first-responder with secondary PTSD, an injured sportsperson, or someone who just wants to be robust mentally, emotionally and physically who feels good most of the time – your life can benefit from TRE®.

What to Bring:
A yoga mat, small pillow, light blanket or beach towel, water. Eat lightly 1 hour beforehand. Dress comfortably in long comfy sweats or yoga pants. Shorts are not suggested.

*This is a limited time workshop ending in February or March. Ma Laxmi will be here till mid-spring. No one is turned away due to lack of funds but please bring something. About Ma Laxmi Anand:
Ma Laxmi is an MSW (Master of Social Work) and retired Addiction Specialist. She has been recognized by three national honor societies. In 2014 she wrote her first book, “Realizing Emerald City” and its corresponding workbook: “The 12 Rainbow Gates”. In 2015, Ma Laxmi went to India for three months and attained credentials as an advance yoga teacher (YT-500) with certification in Chid Shakti Prakriya I. She is dually attuned in Gandai and Usu Reiki. She finished her Trauma Release Certification in 2016 upon returning to the States. Ma Laxmi Anand is the only one in the world certified in this combination of trauma-related systems. She cofounded a non-profit that fed, housed and supported people with disabilities in 2010. Ma Laxmi is now a proud grandmother and dancing fiend living a healthy life introducing miracle producing programs like the ones that helped her recover her own health and happiness.
