    *   Identify the three key guidelines about how to practice TRE safely and effectively.

  • Identify the three most commonly experienced benefits of TRE tremoring.
  • Identify the main concepts of the Polyvagal Theory (by Dr. Stephen Porges) and how it relates to the TRE process.
  • Identify the three ways to self-regulate one’s own tremoring experience so that one’s physical sensations and emotions remain manageable and comfortable and they feel safe.
  • Identify the physical and psycho-emotional precautions facilitating TRE.

Module 2 is only open to people who are enrolled in the TRE certification program to become TRE providers.

Upon completion of this workshop, attendees will be able to:

  • Identify the 3 key points that therapists must always remember to say when guiding someone else through the TRE process.
  • Identify the four steps for guiding someone else through the TRE process and tremoring experience that ensure that you, as a facilitator, act in the most ethical manner possible.
  • Use no-touch and hands-on interventions, to facilitate the tremors to circulate more freely in the body and to increase or decrease the tremors as needed.
  • Identify the three key points therapists must notice while guiding a small group of people through TRE exercising and tremoring.
  • Describe how guiding a group in TRE differs from guiding just one person.
  • Identify 3 places where the client (or the group) can be on the Polyvagal graph while practicing TRE (as shown at the training and in your manual).
  • Describe strategies to bring the client (or the group) back to a place of homeostasis and social engagement when necessary.
  • Describe the function of fascia and myofascia in the human body and how it is relevant to the TRE process.

Disabled attendees:

Facilities and programs are accessible to persons with disabilities, pursuant to the Americans for Disabilities Act (ADA) and related state and local laws. If you have a special need and plan to attend the workshop, please contact Ellen in advance, at ellen@redbeardbodywork.com .
