Live, Online Training for Certified TRE Providers

Is the Story Important?

It is very common for the story of trauma to emerge when people practice TRE with a Provider; bearing witness to it can help the healing process, but how much of the story is important in a TRE session?

Listening to one another tell our stories is a natural and compassionate response, and we all do this regularly with friends and family members. But when does the story go too far, take away from the intention of releasing the trauma from the body or stray beyond our professional training and boundaries?

Develop Your Skills

In this professional development session for Certified TRE Providers we will be exploring important considerations when people begin to share their story, such as: How to skillfully use your client’s trauma story? How do you contain the story and the emotions? When do you redirect and when do you listen? And when is it important to refer to a therapist?
