In this two-day workshop you will be given a foundational understanding of how the body and brain, particularly the limbic system, respond to stress and trauma. You will also be guided through the exercises three times so that you will be able to continue regular practice on your own after the workshop.
Please Note: This is not a certification workshop. Participants will not be certified to teach the process to anyone else.
Schedule: the workshop is Saturday 11/2 8:30-5:00 and Sunday 11/3 8:30-noon.
Fees: If you register prior to October 5th, the fee will be $225 per person; after October 5th, $275.
Accommodations: Peggi chose this location, the Florida Society for Bioenergetic Analysis Center in Alachua, for the workshop because of the natural beauty and seclusion of the area. The property encourages letting go of daily life so that participants can focus on their own process of relaxation and healing. Participants can stay in dormitory accommodations at no charge on a first come first serve basis. Information on local hotels can also be provided.
Travel: The closest airports are Jacksonville International (JAX) in Florida, which is an hour and 20 minutes away by car, and the Gainesville Regional (GNV) which is a 20 min. drive. International trainees frequently use the Orlando, Tampa and Miami airports.
CE Credits: The Florida Society for Bioenegetics offers 10.5 State of Florida CE credits to Mental Health Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Licensed Clinical Social Workers.
