TRE® Connect, Collaborate and Tremor Session with David Berceli & Hans Holter Solhjell

Tuesday, February 7th | 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm CET.

This is the first of three TRE® Connect, Collaborate and Tremor sessions with David and a guest TRE® provider. With these sessions David want to highlight the different ways and styles of teaching TRE®. You are invited to learn from the unique styles of David and the guest TRE® provider and get new inspiration for your TRE® process and work.

In this two-and-a-half-hour session, David Berceli and Hans Holter Solhjell will lead one TRE® session each, where they demonstrate their particular style of teaching, doing interventions, guiding the group, and communicating with participants.

David and Hans will also answer questions related to the sessions and participants TRE related questions in general.

The purpose of these sessions is to connect with others who practice TRE® to share experiences, support, and learn from each other.

About David Berceli
Creator of TRE®, author, trauma and conflict resolution expert and international speaker

David Berceli, Ph.D. is an international expert in the areas of trauma intervention and conflict resolution. He is the creator of Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE). This revolutionary technique is designed to help release the deep tension created in the body during a traumatic experience or through chronic stress. He is also the energetic and creative founder and CEO of Trauma Recovery Services.

Dave has spent two decades living and working in nine countries providing trauma relief workshops and designing recovery programs for international organizations around the world. He has lived and worked extensively in Israel/Palestine, Sudan, Uganda, Kenya, Yemen, Egypt, and Lebanon. He is fluent in English and Arabic.

About Hans Holter Solhjell
TRE® Global Certification Trainer, conflict resolution trainer, SE and Feldenkrais method practitioner

Hans is a Norwegian educator, trainer and practitioner of several learning, change and body oriented methods, such as the Feldenkrais method, TRE®, Somatic Experiencing. He also works with parents, kindergartens and schools with a focus on communication, conflict resolution, and developmentally supportive relationships with children.

I became actively involved in self-development as a student in my early 20’s and have been focused on learning, self-development and change processes, body-oriented methods, communication, conflict resolution, parenting, trauma therapy, Integral theory and various sports activities like barefoot running, total immersion swimming, skiing, self-defense, Aikido, Krav Maga etc.

I have trained in and are a practitioner of several practices, the Feldenkrais Method, Communicology, the Sounder Sleep System, Somatic Experiencing (SE), and am also certified as a Trainer in Trauma Release Exercises (TRE®).

After completing a major in pedagogy, and also worked at the Police College in Oslo, where I taught psychology with an emphasis on stress management and conflict resolution. I have been teaching courses, trainings, and counseling in private practice since 2006.

In my private practice, I work with counseling and courses for parents, trainings for staff in kindergartens and schools, with body-oriented trauma therapy, and body oriented learning and development processes.

I have also developed several practical models for self-development and developmentally supportive conflict resolution, among them the PLS (Positive Learning Spirals) regulation support model, a practically oriented method for development-supportive communication and conflict resolution in relationships with children.
