TRE® (Tension and Trauma Release Exercises), is a series of simple exercises designed to activate an innate stress-relief mechanism common to all mammals. If you have ever gotten “the shakes” when excited, scared, or overwhelmed, you have experienced it. If you have ever seen an animal shake when scared by thunder you have witnessed it. TRE® teaches us how to safely enable this mechanism at will to release stress patterns and bring our body systems to a more balanced state. Once learned TRE® can be practiced on your own and used as a regular part of your self care routine. The experience is typically very pleasant and relaxing.
