1/ Following The Body & Touch Interventions in TRE
Saturday 30th September 2023

Full day training practical advanced training develops understanding of how to observe the movements and restrictions in the body and explores when and how to support clients in connecting deeper with their body using touch. The day will explore the following through demonstration, practical sessions in pairs and discussion:

– Negotiating relational space and the use of presence
– Negotiating touch
– How to touch
– Dosing
– Key touch interventions
– Considerations on when to use touch

Takeaways include enhanced relational attunement, confidence in exploring allowing versus interpretation & intervention, when to use touch in sessions within a framework of regulation and relationship, confidence in ‘holding bodies’ when using touch and a deepening of personal process.

2/ Moving Within: Enhancing Interoception Through Movement
Sunday 1st October 2023

Develop your grounding toolkit for you and your clients through movement. Bringing in elements of rhythm, music, play and connection, this half day workshop enhances interception through movement, balance and exteroception.

Practical exercises to shift our nervous system and body awareness through consciously exploring areas such as:

– Planes of movement
– Balance
– Use of the senses (exteroception)
– Non habitual movement
– Using edges and props
– Play and ‘errors’

In addition to smiles and connection with other TRE Providers & Trainees, takeaway practical accessible exercises to incorporate into client work, groups and for your own self care.
