Stress and tension are an ever-present part of our lives. We often accept it as our fate that we must simply bear the burden of its effect on us. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Tension and Trauma Release Exercises, TRE®, is a set of easy exercises that allow us to access our inherent stress relieving response. With a regular practice, people report better sleep, and better emotional and physical resiliency. TRE® has also been show to relieve the symptoms of PTSD and release deep tension patterns as a result of trauma. Additional benefits of a TRE® practice can include a deep sense of centeredness, presence and connection.
The release of stress, tension, and trauma in TRE® is done in a very gentle and controlled way. The content or cause of tension and trauma doesn’t need to be recalled for the technique to work. Despite this being a group class, the practice is a very quiet and private experience. At no point should you experience any physical discomfort.
This 3 class series will give you a firm foundation into your own TRE® practice. You’ll be able to use the practice whenever and wherever you choose to relieve stress and tension, and return to a calm centered state.
