This online training will be held in English, via Zoom.
It will also be possible to participate via Zoom.
Dates:
Module 1 on 2nd to 4th of December 2022.
Module 2 on 3rd to 5th of February 2023.
Times: 9 am to 4 pm on all days. (Timezone: CET, Norway)
The course will be very practical. We will do 2- 3 sessions of TRE each day, with exercises and tremors. The rest of the time is for sharing of experiences, discussion, and lectures with the theory behind the TRE model. In Module 1 the emphasis is on your personal process with TRE, but you will also develop initial and basic skills to support other people through the exercises.
Topics for the theory lectures:
- Anatomy, neurology, and physiology of stress and trauma as it relates to TRE
- Understanding the tremor response
- Introduction to the polyvagal theory developed by Stephen Porges.
- Defense reactions as they relate to TRE.
- Containment and grounding strategies.
- Introduction to basic skills of working with individuals and groups.
- Introduction to TRE and personal tremoring experience.
The teacher in this module 1 is Hans Holter Solhjell. In addition to my master degree in pedagogy, I am trained as a Feldenkrais practitioner, Somatic Experience Practitioner as well as a TRE Certification Trainer. I also am trained in NLP, the Sounder Sleep System and in my practice work a lot with parents, communication, conflict management and children’s development, as well as trauma therapy.
