TRE Introductory Workshop
Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises
In this workshop, we will be teaching a method for releasing negative energy which has been held in the body. TRE (tension and trauma releasing exercises) is a set of 7 physical exercises which evoke a tremoring or shaking response in the body. They are easily learned and can be done on your own at home to promote self-healing. The tremoring allows the body to release stress and trauma at very deep levels. TRE is already being successfully used in 35 countries and is currently being introduced into the USA. TRE can be an excellent adjunct to psychotherapy since it allows the body to release the accumulated stress and trauma rapidly and non-verbally. It is also a wonderful tool for therapist self-care. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat, towel AND blanket and water.
