    Bio I love what I do. As a psychotherapist for the past 20 years I’ve been lucky to learn about many different modalities of healing. I’ve enjoyed using mindfulness, EMDR, CBT, DBT, Yoga, Qi Gong, IFS, etc in the consulting room. However, when I found TRE not only did I find my own healing, but I found my clinical home as well. I use TRE every day with my clients. I’ve watched my clients’ bodies change before my eyes and I am convinced that this is an important practice to heal at the deepest levels.     Bio For over 25 years I have been engaged in bodywork therapies, self-development and teaching. Since honing self awareness in the 3 year full time Alexander Technique Teacher Training back in 1989 in London, my fascination and passion for body/mind modalities has deepened. I practice Watsu [Water Shiatsu], becoming the first Watsu instructor in the UK in 1999. I continue to teach in clinics, spas, hospitals and hospices nationwide and abroad.     Bio From my first experience of tremoring through TRE in 2015, it has deeply resonated with me in the way the rhythmical movement of the Trager Approach resonates with me. Trager has been deeply transformative for me since 1985, as TRE is now proving to be. I experience Trager as movement from the ‘outside in’, and tremoring involving movement from the ‘inside out’. Also, Trager movements being more mentally-directed from cognitive centers of the brain, while tremoring comes from more unconscious centers. While I expected tremoring to help with my daily emotional stress along with some traumatic experiences, I did not anticipate another remarkable healing effect that I’ve come to attribute to my personal tremoring practice. I had a 45+ year history of multiple food and chemical sensitivities, necessitating a very restricted diet. From when I started tremoring, my reactivity gradually decreased until it entirely resolved within two years, allowing me to consume a highly diversified diet for 3 years now. I feel especially privileged to be able to share both TRE and Trager with others in my work. In witnessing the innate wisdom of the body unwinding from more contracted patterns, I’m moved to an ever-deepening sense of curiosity, awe and wonder.

    Bio Michelle is a licensed mental health counselor and has a passion for helping others through movement and body-centered therapies. After trying many therapies to heal her body from several traumas that left her in constant pain, Michelle discovered Tension/Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE), Somatic Experiencing (SE) and Internal Family Systems (IFS).     Bio I am an advanced EFT practitioner with AAMET, a practitioner of NLP and IET (Integrated Energy Techniques) and have done training in Provocative Energy Techniques and Picture Tapping Technique. I am also a TRE provider. I believe EFT can and does bring inner peace. My own limiting beliefs kept me in a job I didn’t enjoy for nearly 25 years but was afraid to leave. In 2008 I did leave to go on a journey of self-discovery. I quickly realised I wanted to start helping others do so too. This led me to finding EFT, a hands-on technique to do this (for personal development and for helping others) and should be fun. Through my work with EFT I then discovered TRE and have found that the two complement each other brilliantly. Since I started TRE in 2012, I have found it very relaxing and over time have become physically much suppler and noticed that things that used to worry me no longer do.

    Bio I am a semi-retired Occupational Therapist with a small caseload of pediatric clients. My first career was actually as a public school teacher sometime in the last century. I became captivated by TRE when it was presented in an OT workshop which focused on trauma and sensory processing disorder, I became a Certified TRE Provider soon after. As I practice TRE, I find that the combination of OT, particularly Sensory Processing Disorder, to be an interesting and useful combination. I have used my new knowledge about trauma and TRE in treating some very young children in OT. The groups of individuals I come into contact with who can benefit from TRE is enormous. I think first of the parents of developmentally delayed children and often the children themselves. I have studied addiction and find that traumatic events are the precursors for initiating drinking alcohol and experiencing active addiction creates trauma and stress. I have Parkinson's Disease and TRE is very helpful.
